If you’re new to the world of Internet marketing, you’ve probably heard of Influencer Marketing: Investment and ROI. It is essentially a form of marketing where an investor or business rewards a professional for contributing to their product line through personal endorsement. There are many business and individuals that have put out products that need the endorsement of others in order to become successful. The business or individual uses the advice and expertise of an Influencer to create a positive word-of-mouth buzz about their offering. If the buzz is good, then they make more sales.
One of the best things about Influencer Marketing: Investment and ROI is that it can be very profitable for all involved. For example, let’s say a business wants to launch a new product line. They contact an Influencer that is well-known in the market place with an idea for a new product.
They offer him a product for free, and then pay him a percentage of sales once the product is sold. The cost to the Influencer is his time and expertise. The profit for the business is basically paying him per sale so they can receive a nice return on investment. Now this isn’t a “get rich quick” scheme because neither person makes any money without investing some of their own.
Once the deal is sealed, the next step is creating a landing page or website that offers the product. Most landing pages are made using WordPress or Blogger. They contain the benefits and features of the product as well as a sales letter that encourages customers to purchase. There is also a call-to-action that directs the customer to purchase. This is where the investment part comes in. The website needs to be updated with content pertaining to the product and the ongoing promotions in order to maintain traffic.
Once the website is online, the next step is to get the product in front of customers. This is done through article marketing, press releases, blogging, and online contests. Basically, anything that allows you to get your information in front of others and onto the web at large will get you some exposure. This gives your good name and reputation some recognition. It also builds your credibility as an expert in the field.
The final step is the actual selling. This is done through advertising. This is usually done in conjunction with other forms of advertising. The cost depends on the type of product being sold, but can be anywhere from free to several hundred dollars depending on the market you are trying to tap. The goal is to build awareness while generating sales. If done correctly, you can bring in thousands of dollars in a short period of time.
The best part about doing this process is that you don’t have to create your own product. This leaves the door wide open for you to invest your time into other forms of marketing as well. If you are already an Internet marketer, you can use your current skills to help promote your new product. In addition, if you don’t already have a product or service to sell, you can always start from scratch. As long as you have an understanding of marketing principles and how they apply to your business, you should be able to produce something pretty good. Of course, the more expertise you have in the field the better.
By now you should have a pretty good idea of how to go about this whole process. The important thing is to remember that you don’t have to create your own product to make money off of your Influencer Marketing experience. All in all, it is one of the easiest ways to capitalize on your Internet marketing efforts. Good luck and stay connected!
